So having had fantastic Christmas Dance weekends previously with great success, bookings are now being taken for DECEMBER 2026 where we will again kickstart your FESTIVE CELEBRATIONS. ...
Staying at the Inn on the Prom, a hotel which gives us great service and will be bedecked with baubles, tinsel and festive fancies..... and if you're very good, you might get to see Santa
For our Christmas weekender, this will be a 2 /3 night stay (optional) enjoying 2 nights Dinner Dance with festive trimmings, entertainment and then dancing the night away with fellow dancers.
This year we will have our "Dress to Impress" evening on the Friday then our Crazy @Christmas theme Saturday party night.......which this year was superb...
Our singer for the night is back by popular demand...
(This event is for those only booked onto the dance weekend and no on the night door admissions)
Modern jive Classes as well as Double Trouble classes will take place as well as fun Line Dance class by our recently qualified Sheila Clark.
SILC classes with take place with Gary Wharton and Julie Murrey from Pirate Jive.
We will have 3 DJs working the decks throughout the weekend for your enjoyment
Whilst in Lytham and close to Blackpool you can enjoy the lights and festivities that each town has on offer and a chance to look for that extra bit of Christmas shopping........... get it done early.......

A 3rd night is available for those that want to make it a long weekend. This will be an informal 3rd night with 3 course Dinner, bed and breakfast.
Previously we have over 40 staying and had a great social night...yes we had some ole crooners on the mic, a nice wind down to the weekend ,
A £50 non refundable deposit pp is required to secure your booking.
Balances must be paid 6 weeks prior to event ( Dancers can pay whatever they want between now and the balance due date to make it easier)
Itineraries for the weekend will be sent out about 6 weeks prior to the event

Photographs may be taken AND during event for the purpose of memories to reminisce and may be used for promotion of further events or put into event photo albums for dancers to see.
Any picture taken that an individual doesn't like we will happily take down .

Supplements from £30 per night for single occupancy in double rooms (numbers limited)

This 2/3 night event, Friday to Monday , giving a full programme for the weekend including
2 nights dinner dancers with entertainment plus informal 3rd night .
To include our popular "Dance the Prom” on the seafront for the Saturday.

followed by chance to dance the night away

The hotel also put on daily live afternoon entertainment at the front of the hotel for all to enjoy .
St Annes is only a short walk to Lytham along the seafront or bus ride into Blackpool where you can enjoy
the sights and fun it has to offer during your downtime, so plenty to do on our weekender

Pawl Anthony's "Celt Jive" invite you to join them at their new venue in the Lake District for their 2nd MODERN JIVE Dinner Dance weekend at a hotel with a touch of opulence.
The Grange Hotel is a luxury four-star gem located on the idyllic southern fringe of the beautiful English Lake District.
The property enjoys an unrivalled position in the pretty little coastal town of Grange-over-Sands.
This lovely setting, with its breath-taking panoramic bay views, is only 7 miles from Lakeside where you can board the various steamers and launches around the lake or board the steam engine for a vintage trip through the countryside and provides an ideal gateway to the awe-inspiring majesty of the Lake District National Park.
You may wish to jump in your car and explore further afield.
Or to use the pool or spa facilities.
The weekend is 2 nights including our STEAMPUNK THEMED Dinner Dance Freestyle.

We have a number of twin rooms and due to the limited number of rooms in this hotel and it is hoped these can be used for either mixed couples sharing, two males sharing or two ladies sharing…….. however we do expect a lot of ladies to try and book but this will only be possible if gents take up the sharing of twin rooms also.
As you know we do try to gender balance where possible… ...we to it to within 6 this year……….. so ladies……. Get onto your gents,,,,, The rooms are very nice
We have twin rooms that can be used as doubles........ BUT to give the chance for "non couple" dancers to attend we are keeping these as twins......... so gents........ time to buddy up and share quality bedrooms and then we can sort out the list of ladies who also wish to attend..................
Upgraded rooms do command a premium but are superb in content to make you very comfortable)
I must say the rooms are very individual and beyond anything else we have ever had on any of our weekenders. A special touch to make that weekend extra special.
We will be dining in a great function room which leads onto a rooftop veranda. And being peak summer hope to make full use of it.

As always a non refundable £50 deposit secures the booking, but please confirm your room allocation with Celt Jive before making payment….. as rooms will sell out quickly
